Niche is the place to be today

Lounge at Spring Garden and Barrington hosts multiple events

More Atlantic Film Festival happenings today, and I'm right in the midst of it. At noon I am hosting a panel of filmmakers at Niche (1505 Barrington Street) featuring Cory Bowles and Preston Hudson (Heart of Rhyme) and Matt MacIsaac (Victim). We'll be talking inspiration and process and short films in Nova Scotia.

At 7pm back at Niche is the Canadian Surf Film Festival Program Launch Party. The surf fest follows hot on the heels of the AFF, opening on September 29, and they'll be showing a reel of clips from the films screening.

And following that will be the Picnicface TV Show Halifax Launch party, starting at 9pm. Members of the troupe will be on hand for you to buy them drinks. All events are free.
