Not Since Moses Walk and Run

When: Sun., Aug. 11, 9:30 a.m. 2013

This is a majestic event that allows you bragging rights into perpetuity. Imagine running (or walking) across the natural wonder that is the Bay of Fundy. Imagine carefully watching your feet as you trod over mud and sand and rocks and water while trying to remind yourself to look up and take in the insane beauty that surrounds you. Imagine racing the change in tides. Talk about lighting a fire under your ass. Taking place at the glorious Sand Point, Five Islands, two hours from the city, this annual event combines the low tide and the dramatic backdrop to result in an unforgettable athletic feat. Add in some snacks, live music and over 1,000 other runners and the result is a sure to be a total "pinch me" moment. —Allison Saunders (Five Islands)
