A horrible disaster on the Macdonald Bridge!

comment

Remarks: The pedestrian walkway on the Macdonald Bridge has collapsed, casting whoever was on it to the luggage carousel below. Yep, thankfully this isn’t the real Macdonald Bridge but rather the model of the bridge at the baggage pickup out at the airport. Sinclair, who answers the phones at the airport, had no knowledge of the dramatized disaster of death greeting newcomers to our fair city, but we’re assuming somebody will jump right on fixing it now that she knows.

Who's Responsible?: Karen Sinclair, 873-1422

Status: August 2008: Poorly resolved. The pedestrian walkway has been removed completely, so there’s no dramatized disaster of death, but there’s no, well, pedestrian walkway. What kind of message is that sending visitors? And while we’re at it, why doesn’t this Macdonald Bridge have toll booths? False advertising, says we. Updated by Amanda Wenek
