Paper Tigers Canadian Premiere

When: Tue., Nov. 15, 7 p.m. 2016

Over two decades ago, researchers published a paper showing children who grow up surrounded by trauma are more likely to develop health problems later in life, from drug abuse to poor diet to cancer and heart disease. Paper Tigers follows the groundbreaking research this paper laid out, chronicling teachers' efforts at an alternative, "trauma-informed" high school to keep their students from becoming statistics.
This is the film's Canadian premiere, and the screening will be followed by a panel discussion.

Price: $20
