Pleasureville, the town, is a sleepy sort of place that could use a plucky come-from-away to spruce things up a bit. Pleasureville the play opens on that very premise, as a newcomer—armed with a Masters degree in human sexuality—opens the town’s first sex shop. The comedy is billed by Neptune as “half sex toy gag, half feminist debate,” but it promises to provide lots of talking points after the curtains fall as themes of sex, age and success are bandied about by the cast. This marks your last weekend to catch the play at its world premiere
