Rats to cat plan | Opinion | Halifax, Nova Scotia | THE COAST

To the editor,

Re: "Claw enforcement," November 1: First off, thanks to Lezlie Lowe for her informative article on our local anti-cat councillors---3.3 million dollars, that's $3,333,333.33. Three million for containing and killing cats. It kind of makes me feel sick to my stomach right now, but not as sick as I will feel when the city is overrun with rats and mice!

If our city staff can't come up with a better way to spend our tax money, then we might just as well dump all our pets in the harbour with the rest of the shit we can't seem to get cleaned up. For all the house pets who like to breathe fresh air and walk on the grass, I pray for you now.
