Ravenous

Lee Cripps debuts a collection of paintings that are "the story of a deep yearning to go beyond the surface tension of my daily life and embody the deepest animal intuitions of my soul," as her artist's statement explains. The works use animal iconography (particularly ravens) to express physicality in many ways, from "pure physical emotion" to a "yearning to express the physical body."
