Rayman Jungle Run

iOS, Android (Ubisoft)

Rayman Jungle Run takes the beautiful hand-drawn art style of Rayman Origins and puts it on your phone or tablet. It’s not quite as deep as the console experience, but it’s still worth that app store gift card your aunt gave you for Christmas. Rather than moving around the environment as you please, Rayman is constantly on the move. Once you hit go, he’s running. It’s up to you to decide when the armless/legless hero jumps, hovers or punches. The levels are interesting and creative, but if you’re a completist and you can’t quit until every electoon is collected, best of luck to you. It can be a really challenging experience to perfect your score. Warning: may cause device throwing syndrome. With its gorgeous art design, wacky music and enough challenge to keep you going, this is perhaps the best mobile game you can buy to get you through the cold winter months.
