I would want someone who is light hearted and fun, who is open to having a great time, instead of some suspicious-eyed hag who only sees men trying to "get one over" on them.
Love involves taking a leap of faith, even a small one, and opening yourself to the chance of it going wrong and you being hurt. It's the only way to find love. If you treat every prospective as a potential threat, you're only going to see potential threats.

We've had to justify being selective before, when someone who went to the first Summit turned out to be batshit loco in his cabeza.
It's a group of friends. You're seriously going to knock us because we don't want a certain someone to come out and make it not fun?
I guess one other hazard of the human condition is not liking when strangers show up at your house unannounced.
Hence everyone's extreme frustration with her. I left the board to get away from the constant anxiety-farming and attention whoring. I've met up with my Board Bitches Friends a couple times since. Some genuine friendships have come out of this place, people I would have never met otherwise.
And generally new folks are invited to come meet us at Summits, but being a non-sanctioned organization, we are selective. If any of us have asked you to come out, they sincerely would like to meet the person behind the persona.
