Re: “Bowles on ice

Kodos to Tim Bousquet for bringing this waste to the attention of the community of Dartmouth. HRM management have made a decision and in the opinion of many it will not make a lick of sense, for others, they may shake their head in bewilderment. Like the comment above it may instill ideas outside the box and comments that lead to - maybe, other decisions could have been made that would make more sense. Whatever the matter, inconvenience does not hold a candle to the part of the article that causes me to be 'infuriated' and it has nothing to do with a decision to open or close the Bowles arena.

It's this paragragh;
Multiple sources have told The Coast that management direction to staff at the arena is to park off-site or behind the building, enter the building but lock the door behind them, refuse to allow the public to enter the facility until a half-hour before the first 4pm booking and "make it look like no one's there," according to one source.

I have to ask this question; Could you possibly feel comfortable working in an environment
where your superiors would perpetrate a deception and then cause you to support or perpetuate it?

I live in Enfield, on my way home today from playing hockey at CHP (Cole Harbour Place)
I had the occasion to read the flags that hang from the telephone poles and were placed there a few years ago - they often serve to remind me of some core principles that can be a guide for most people. They are Respect, Honour, Unity and Integrity. I challenge anyone to apply these four words to the alleged above action taken by this group of HRM managers and see if they fit. It's my observation that none apply. How this type of management demonstrates any honour and respect, instills unity or provides any kind of integrity is beyond my comprehension.

How would you describe it? Does Spineless come to mind?
My name is Redge Deg and I stand behind my opinion. Whats your Mr or Ms HRM manager?
Will you stand behind yours?
