Re: “De-celebrating Canada 150

If you're one of those who is perpetually outraged at everything, I guess throwing eggs at a statue is a good way to get it out of your system. But let's just stop getting outraged over things that have nothing to do with today.

Re: “Macdonald Bridge closures have been havoc for cyclists

Uh, what would you propose as an alternative? A bikes-only bridge across the harbour?

Re: “Taxes are just another “culture shock” to living in Canada

Generally one should start with the premise that you know better than the govt does how best to spend YOUR OWN MONEY. I can accept paying for services that benefit me but the amount of unnecessary govt spending and outright waste is staggering. That is MY MONEY they are wasting, and it is tantamount to stealing. The Syrian way may be better.

Re: “Panel of experts to review use of Cornwallis name

If Mason doesn't want to hear from white members of his constituency then he is practicing a form of racism. Imagine the SJW outcry if, say, Steve Adams said he didn't want to hear from black folks he represented. Unbelievable.

Re: “Panel of experts to review use of Cornwallis name

Our out-to-lunch "progressive" Council has 3 more years to totally mess things up even worse. Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride with these idiots.

Re: “Bayers Lake medical centre site called inaccessible

The criticism from the usual suspects is dead wrong. This facility will serve residents from the growing western and southern suburbs of HRM who currently have to battle our inadequate street network to get to the south end and then try to find parking. The argument that nobody will go there is belied by the massive crowds found in Bayers Lake every day. Sick people do not generally walk of bike to the hospital.
