Saint Mary's Reading Series: Michael Crummey

Michael Crummey of St. John’s, Newfoundland, has published a short-story collection and four books of poems. He is best-known for the novels River Thieves, The Wreckage, and Galore (winner of the 2010 Commonwealth Writers Prize for Best Novel–Canada and Caribbean). His fourth novel, Sweetland, was published by Doubleday in 2014, and has received reviews calling it his finest book yet.
