Paul O'Regan Hall, Halifax Central Library

You may have heard of Scaachi Koul. The BuzzFeed senior writer, unapologetic tweeter and recent author has garnered fans (and her fair share of haters, too) over the past few years. Through it all, she’s held her own as one of the boldest writers around. Honest and funny, Koul has penned pieces on everything from the popularity of The Rock to dealing with friend break-ups in the digital age.

Her book of essays, One Day We'll All Be Dead and None of This Will Matter came out in March. Did I mention Koul is set to write and executive produce a television series based on the book? Yeah, that too. But I digress.

The Coast is bringing Koul to Halifax this fall for her first appearance in the city, so mark your calendars. For these reasons and others, you really won’t want to miss her. I mean, sure—one day we’ll all be dead and it won’t matter if you bought tickets. But if you don’t, you’ll probably regret it while you’re alive. You can get ‘em here. See you there!
