Seether
Disclaimer II
(Sony)
With the new-found popularity of the Seether/Amy Lee duet “Broken,” Seether decided to capitalize on this renewed 15 minutes of fame by releasing Disclaimer II, a reworking of 2002’s lacklustre Disclaimer. Not much has changed, other than the length; the first was 12 tracks but here it’s been stretched to 20 tracks of wanna-be grunge rock. Seether’s one strength lies in the electro-acoustic agony of “Broken” and “Fine Again”—they don’t need to blow out speakers to blow crowds away.
