Zaynab is a queer Muslim Pakistani woman who lives with her mom—a widow who spends all her time looking for potential husbands for her daughter. When she falls for Alma, Zaynab realizes she'll have to risk it all, even if it means disappointing her mother. OUTeast is calling it a "comedic and heartfelt look at...the complexities of love in its many forms."
