Silence & Memory: The Lost Bells of Europe

When: May 20-July 24 2011

During World War II over 150,000 bells from Germany were melted to make arms, luckily before this was done plaster casts were made to preserve their surface engravings. This exhibit of casts is displayed in connection with a spring session course at SMU. Opening reception and curator's talk, May 26 at 7pm.
