Skin Flick

Sex is fun. Chances are you already knew that, but if you need a little reminder, head to Norm Foster’s *Skin Flick*. As incredible as it may seem, the tone of this play, which is about a down-on-their-luck middle-aged couple who fall into the porn production industry, is really charming and innocent. The laughs are big, some from pure physical comedy, like the scene where the two newly-minted porn stars are blocking out some acrobatic sexual positions, and some from the double entendres and snappy word play. David Nairn shines as the omnipotent (but unreliable) narrator Rollie, and his relationship with his loving and lovable wife Daphne (played by Martha Irving) is an illuminating portrait of what a happy, enduring marriage can look like. Love, lust and laughs—*Skin Flick* has it all.---Kate Watson
