Re: “You DON'T own the parking lot, asshole!

I wrote this bitch and you, peanut gallery, crack me up.

First, to Orgasmatron, no details missing. THAT'S how it happened. The only 'detail' that I didn't include was the fact they added 'this isn't a crosswalk', after yelling 'UGLY RETARD' at me. Doesn't really change the story much, does it.

Secondly, to Beener. Wow. Jump to conclusions much? I WAS watching where I was going, which was exactly WHY I STOPPED for the OTHER car approaching to my left. I didn't have time to cross SAFELY in front of them, so I stopped and let them go by.

Imagine that! Common courtesy from someone PAYING ATTENTION!

The car coming up on my right was FAR enough away that I started crossing, with the EXPECTATION that they would stop because THEY HAD TIME TO and could see me perfectly well crossing at that spot.

My head was not down, nor stuck in my purse. I looked right AT the car, a safe distance away, before I started to cross.

They did not yell, FUCK YOU at me. Read it again.

The passenger DID yell at me, for no other reason than trying to get across. Hard to believe we have such people living in HRM, huh? Yeah. Right.

To Sebastian, the ass that sits on my 110lb frame does NOT walk in the middle of the lane, nor is it fat, thank you very much. You may shut up now, and put your assumptions away for another day.

And lastly, to Tommyjules902, thank you :-)

Re: “Canada Games = No School for YOU!

I can see the OP's point. I'm a single parent who has no family in NS so I schedule my vacation around the school breaks. Week for march, week for summer, week for christmas and week for 'just in case' days when the kids are sick and I have to stay home.

Kids go to daycamp in the summer.

Don't bitch about how many weeks I get, I've worked over 10yrs at the same company, I earned it!

I agree school is not meant to be a babysitter, but many of us DO schedule much of our lives around it.

More than two schools are being affected. I'm out in Fall River, our schools aren't being used, but we're out too.

They removed March Break this year for the extra week in Feb. Christmas break stays 'as is'.

I can understand the frustration, it's an extra week of having to find something for you kids to 'do' and not everyone can easily work that into their budget or work schedule.
