Film Screening

South House's Bechdel Test Film Fest

When: Thursdays, 6-9 p.m. Continues through Aug. 25 2016

Most Thursdays this summer, South House is inviting you to join them at the Art Bar (1873 Granville Street) to see some flicks that pass the Bechdel Test.
The test, for those unfamiliar with it, sees how women are treated in the movie in question by asking three questions:
1. Are there at least two women?
2. Do these women talk to each other?
3.Do they discuss something other than a man?
While surprisingly few films pass, this series highlights wonderful works that do, including Born In Flames and Beyoncé's Lemonade.
