"Maybe it's not on top of the charts, but we're still standing strong. So we'll be here forever. United and hard we stand."
—Dimebag Darrell
"Every band on the label is a band in whom I personally believe. They are all easy to work with, are immensely talented, and are willing to put in the hours and the effort to get their music heard," says Matt Day of Spread the Metal Records, whose roster includes Answer with Metal, Fallen Joy and Sanktuary. The label is hosting its first festival this weekend, with all proceeds going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. (Day's goal is 100K.) "I think it's the duty of businesses and corporations to use their influence to positively impact the world we live in," he says, "and my record label seeks to be a big part of that."
