Re: “Jennifer Watts

I recently moved into Jennifer's district from Linda (useless) Mosher's, and I can honestly say it's been a wonderful change. I actually see Jennifer interacting with people. Her wants and needs for the district appear to be in sync with those of the community.

Re: “Linda Mosher

"Mosher's political agenda becomes most clear in her district. Her advocacy for a fast ferry to Purcells Cove appears to be tied to a desire to open up the backlands in that area to development, which some residents say has in turn has caused her to support a sewer line extension."

Mosher doesn't even make eye contact with constituents at these meetings any longer. For what's called a "no growth" area, there certainly is a lot of interest here. What did the agent for that 6.5 million dollar house say recently on the CBC? "Purcells Cove is the new South End?" I'm sure Mosher was giddy at this.

"The membership of the community steering committee, which will oversee a study on the sewer line extension, was decided in secret by council, which served to feed suspicion that secret agendas are being pushed."

Obviously. Make the pensioners who live in lower Purcells Cove foot the bill for water & sewer and watch them face the reality of being forced to sell. Enter the developers with a "take it or leave it" offer to buy.

But at least she gets to be the Councillor in the "new South End."
