King's Wharf

Location: The Dartmouth waterfront

View: The second biggest natural harbour in the world, McNabs and Georges Islands and the babe that is Halifax.

Price range: $249,900 and up

Reasons to brag: King's Wharf is essentially going to be a mini-town of its own, so the location alone is bragworthy, housing multiple condo buildings, town houses, a marina, a beach, a hotel, an office building, public parks and, potentially, you. On top of that, haven't you heard? Downtown Dartmouth's the place to be (see page 17). While the Wharf's Keelson building is already sold out, digs in The Anchorage and the Aqua Vista buildings are up for grabs.

Morris Lake Vistas

Location: On Morris Lake, which is bordered by Dartmouth, Shearwater and Cole Harbour.

View: A panoramic look at the big, incredibly beautiful Morris Lake and the greenery that surrounds it.

Price range: $215,000 and up

Reasons to brag: Pebblecreek Crescent is where condo life meets serene lakeside living. On one hand, you're conveniently close to Dartmouth Crossing, Mic Mac Mall and Portland Hills, with its grocery stores and public transit. But when you want your peace and quiet, it's yours. We're talking walking trails, bird watching, canoeing and a million-dollar view. One look at the rooftop patio and you may never want to leave.

Dockside Waterfront Drive

Location: The Bedford waterfront.

View: The voluptuous Bedford Basin, which should never play second fiddle to its conjoined twin the Halifax Harbour. It's a beautiful expanse in its own right.

Price range: $359,900 and up

Reasons to brag: Dockside is like a little village within the already great town of Bedford. Based right on the ever-growing boardwalk, in walking distance of local shops and eateries, a stone's throw from DeWolfe Park, with access to the wharf (we could go on...), location's a big factor in Dockside's awesomeness. Plus, you can one-up your friends with a heated pool.
