Where to begin. The so called enthusiastic staff member was halfway in a coma. Thankfully there was no big greeting as I was led to expect. Wasn't expecting to order a 14 dollar burger at a counter but that was ok. Was hoping to have an alcoholic beverage with my burger and I was in luck. Relish serves Propeller beer and what else? Oh yeah, Propeller beer. IPA or pilsner. Which ever one I tried was like sucking on a tea bag. $5.25 for a little glass at that. No other alcohol. But that's ok too. The combinations of toppings on their signature burgers were interesting and all sounded good and the sweet BBQ mayo I tried for dipping sweet potato fries was tasty. Where Relish ultimately fails is in what should be most important. The meat. Yes it's angus patty. So what? Let me point out that McDonald's makes an Angus burger. In fact I'm pretty sure somebody is selling them out the back door to these guys. The flavor of the meat was no better. Actually, probably worse. It seems to me that McDonald's puts a seasoning of some kind of their's. Relish doesn't seem to bother. But there's 15 toppings on the burger so hopefully you don't notice. A person would be better off to look at the Menu online and steal their ideas and make your own burger at home it will be 10 times better. I can't imagine anyone Who actually likes the meat part of the burger to go to Relish a second time. F*** Relish.
