The Changeling: Chimes of Bedlam

When: Nov. 21-25 and Nov. 28-Dec. 2 2018

The Villain's Theatre's fall performance sees the troupe tackle what it calls "one of the most darkly funny and shocking plays of the Renaissance" with a new adaptation of the tale of an affair and murder at London's infamous asylum, the Bedlam Hospital. "Thus begins a chain of violence and sexual obsession, culminating in a shocking and complex villainous partnership, delving further and further into the world of both gender politics and mental health," the theatre company promises. The play runs from Nov 21-25 at The Bus Stop Theatre before moving to the Sawmill Playhouse (33 Crichton Ave, Dartmouth) from Nov 28-Dec 2.
