Community screening of six local emerging independent filmmakers

Check out this collective showing tomorrow, Saturday, April 2, from 7pm to 9:30pm at the Black Cultural Centre of Nova Scotia (1149 Main Street, Dartmouth, 434-6223)

The Emerging Lens film screening---a production of Tara Taylor, Shelley Fashan and in association with the Charles Taylor Hall Theatre Society---offers the chance to see and hear the differing views, experiences and perspectives on culture, music, and the heritage of the African Nova Scotian communities.

The six filmmakers are Sobaz Benjamin, Izreal Jones, Tara Taylor, Wanda Taylor, Ann Verrall, Tanya Reddick and Shelley Fashan, who will be present for the screening and attending a reception following.

(Admission is free and refreshments are provided.)
