If it's not too early for the carols, the lights and the crazy shoppers...then we say, break out the 'nog. We're celebrating the only month of the year that it's acceptable to mix holiday spirits with a thick concoction of eggs, cream and sugar. Drink up, and mind the bellyache.
Economy Shoe Shop
The Shoe Shop is putting their spin on the traditional 'nog. This drink packs more punch by using Lamb's Blacksheep, a spiced rum that's made with cinnamon bark and holds hints of lime and vanilla. Even better, this cup of holiday cheer will only run you five dollars for the month of December.

Some like it hot! Onyx's main bartender Eugene prefers to serve his egg nog mixes warm. He suggests spiced rum, butterscotch schnapps and a sprinkle of nutmeg for the traditionalist, or a steaming mix of dark rum and Chambord with your 'nog for the adventurous palette.

Our mouths are watering over the egg nog-tini that Niche has just added to their winter menu. It's made with an ounce of vanilla vodka, three quarters of an ounce of butterscotch schnapps and one quarter of an ounce of Goldschlager to the nog, then it's shaken and served with a cinnamon garnish. Sounds like liquid dessert.
