The Mellotones Anniversary Show

When: Wed., Dec. 23, 10 p.m. 2009

The Mellotones are celebrating year 12 as a band, and the current members have put together an all-star review of band mates past and present for an anniversary show. "We wanted to bring back as many original band members as we can," says Jeffery Mosher, Mellotones' lead singer for the past nine years. Mosher says the show's going to reenact the band's history on stage, starting with Tony Smith, The Mellotones' first lead singer. The number of performers for the anniversary show will hit 33, including former band members and featured guests. If everyone shows up, some of the musicians scheduled to dot the stage are Bill Stevenson, Vanessa Smith (from Asia and NuGruv), Matt Mays, Garrett Mason, Nathan Wile, Adam Baldwin and Darrell Parsons. That doesn't add up to 33, so there's more in store for the evening. –Holly Gordon
