The Singing Revolution is a moving documentary record of how the Estonian people, strategically and wilfully, sang their way to freedom and helped topple an empire along the way. The film chronicles five years of unique and peaceful protests between 1987 and 1991, when hundreds of thousands of Estonians came together to sing forbidden patriotic songs in a musical declaration of independence from the USSR. With Q&A and choral performance. Proceeds support the Annapolis Valley Honour Choir.
