C-3PO: Sir, the possibility of successfully navigating an asteroid field is approximately 3,720 to 1.Han Solo: Never tell me the odds.
It felt like doing just that while leaving Edmonton; rocks, rocks and more rocks. More rock than if Sabbath covered a Zeppelin song. With the new wheel too, it added some pressure to navigate through them perfectly so, naturally, this Star Wars quote came to mind.
It was a long bike out to Vegreville and it definitely took some getting back into shape for. Luckily, after some raininess and a blah weather, it became quite gorgeous as I pulled into The Vista Motel (one of the nicest motels I've ever seen). A small-town movie theatre's sign caught my eye too and, since I had just enough time to catch the film that was playing, 28 Weeks Later, I did just that. It was such a great experience $5 movie, old-fashion theatre, quite but with just enough people to not feel empty. The movie was a lot better than what I was expecting too (aside from a couple plot choices).
Here's a pic of the town's sign to add to my collection of town signs:
Here's the movie I took for the day (good; aside from a couple plot choices):
