Tribute Night: Blondie, Fresh Prince of Bel Air and DJ Jazzy Jeff, The Germs and Billy Idol

When: Sat., Feb. 13, 10 p.m. 2010

When Jen Clarke---Jenocide's leading lady---was asked to cover Blondie last summer for a Pixies tribute show, she couldn't refuse. "Blondie is one of my favourite bands of all time, so I rounded up some friends---Nathan Pilon (keys), Brad MacDougal (drums), from Windom Earle, Lyle Peterson of the Gideons and Andrew Gormley of former Hotshotrobot," she writes in an email. "We had so much fun the first time, we decided to do it again!" The "again" is this week's tribute night at the Seahorse, and Jenocide and Windom Earle are rocking Blondie again, while Jorun and Ghettosocks transform into DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, The Visitation take on Billy Idol and Meat Curtains perform as The Germs. Bust out your Carleton moves and check it out. –Holly Gordon
