If you haven’t heard of What’s for Supper let me enlighten you. It’s a pretty great concept helping the busiest among us to simplify their end-of-day kitchen time and still maintain that tasty home-cooked goodness. Imagine if after a painfully long day your family’s meal (like say, seared haddock with mango orange salsa) was pretty much ready to go, save for popping it in the oven. And, this isn’t a microwave dinner, it’s totally fresh. Amazing, right? With a menu that changes every month, the dishes you can assemble on site at What’s for Supper serve four to six people. And, if you’re really strapped for time you can skip that step too and buy them pre-prepped. The meal-making boutique and its sister cafe Sonny’s Cafe have settled have recently uprooted themselves from Bayers Lake in favour of a bright new space on the corner of Morris and Hollis (1277 Hollis Street).
