Yalda Night

When: Tue., Dec. 23, 7:30 p.m.-1 a.m. 2014

Yalda marks the commencement of Persian winter solstice, the longest night all year according to the Iranian calender. There will be traditional Iranian music and dance, including live performances of ‘Aavaaz,' vocal and instrumental performances, a DJ and Hafez poetry readings. The night's events will also include a light meal and dessert.
